BROOKLYN, Mich.
Ryan Newman and Joey Logano got into it in the NASCAR garage in a heated post-race exchange, after the two tangled on the track late in Sunday's Michigan 400.
The incident began as Logano was trying to pass Newman on the inside off the corner. Logano's car got a little light in the nose, aerodynamically, and he overcorrected, and bumped Newman's fender, sending him into the wall.
Newman, who wound up 23rd, was very hot at Logano.
But Logano, 10th, responded "he races me way too hard. He races everybody too hard. I'm not the only one that complains about it every week.
"And he just went in there and door-jammed me.
"I was down there (on the low-side) trying to save it, and trying to save it.
"When someone is right on your side, it takes your air off (the rear spoiler and makes the car squirrelly).
"I'm down there just hanging on and hanging on.
"I saved it three times before I'm like 'I can't save this one. He should have given me room by now.'
"I will have to call and talk to him about it, because I know I'm not the only one that complains about it. I don't know why he races everyone so hard. I hear it from too many people."

Ryan's racing
He's suppose to race hard! That's his job!

Too many drivers out for a Sunday ride with the top down. Just what fans want to hear a driver complain about: "He's racing me too hard" or "it's too early in the race to be racing that hard". If they don't want to race hard, let somebody drive it that will. The money must be too good when drivers complain about having to race hard. And here I thought Logano was different.
