NASCAR Plaza, the landmark high-rise office building in downtown Charlotte, appears to be in some trouble, because of low occupancy in the 390,000-square-foot tower next to the new NASCAR Hall of Fame.
The office tower opened last year, but the sluggish real estate market has left the building 60 percent vacant.
