   BROOKLYN, Mich.
Maybe what Indianapolis Motor Speedway needs is more rubber on the track on NASCAR 400 weekends.
Maybe that would solve some of those tire problems.
Maybe Indy needs to run a Nationwide and Truck race too.
There has been talk over the past few years about a Nationwide race at Indy on Saturday, to help rubber in the asphalt.
Now this isn't that, but Indy and cross-town short track O'Reilly Raceway Park are now marketing together.
If you can brave the cross-town traffic, the two tracks are packaging Friday's Truck race at ORP, Saturday's Nationwide race at ORP and Sunday's Brickyard 44 at the big track.
Heck, the two are even providing round-trip luxury motorcoach transportation.
Now if the tires just hold up….
