Tire-chasing crewman sacked with more penalities.

   The crewman who chased an errant tire across the infield grass during Sunday's Atlanta 500, and thus triggered a caution that changed the shape of the race, has been suspended for another four races, NASCAR announced Monday.
   Jimmy Watts, the gas man for Marcos Ambrose' team, was penalized for "actions detrimental to stock car racing" and "crew members must not go on the race track for any reason while the cars are racing or while the cars are running under the yellow flag or the red flag, unless otherwise directed to do so by a NASCAR official."
     Watts has also been placed on NASCAR probation until Dec. 31.
   And Frank Kerr, his crew chief, has also been put on probation until Dec. 31, for Watts' actions, because NASCAR requires the crew chief to be responsible for the actions of his crew.
