Jack Roush picks his four drivers for 2010...and Jamie McMurray's future is up in the air

   It all started with so much promise, when Jack Roush signed Jamie McMurray to run the 2006 season, replacing Kurt Busch.
   But now, 3-1/2 years later, McMurray has only one win, at Daytona in the summer of 2007, on his record with Roush.
   So it's not really a surprise that Roush, in his NASCAR-required move to trim his Roush Fenway operation to four teams for 2010, has now confirmed those four drivers as Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards and David Ragan.
   And McMurray's next move is apparently up to McMurray.
   Geoff Smith, head of Roush's racing operations, says "We are still hoping to be able to transfer the No. 26 team (McMurray's) intact to (Doug) Yates Racing, in order to keep everyone employed and racing within the Ford community."
    Diageo's Crown Royal brand, which has sponsored McMurray, will move to Matt Kenseth's quarter panels. The slumping housing industry forced Kenseth's long-time sponsor DeWalt to withdraw at the end of the season, an announcement made last week.
    Crown Royal, though, is only committed to sponsoring Kenseth at 18 Sprint Cup events next season, just half of the 36-race tour.
    Kenseth won the season-opening Daytona 500 and the California 500.
