Marcy Scott, and The Last of the Red Devil....

The NASCAR family is like most other families in America: with good times and bad. Problems here, happier things over there, work to do, never quite enough play-time.
And in the NASCAR family, behind the scenes, just like in other families, there is sometimes great angst, sometimes things to have to deal with that may seem almost overwhelming.
   But that's why there's family.
So here in the final few days before the NASCAR championship chase kicks off, with the Atlanta 500 this weekend and the Richmond 400 next, as prelude to the playoff opener at Loudon, N.H., Sept. 20th, maybe you will have a few moments to consider this one small story from behind the great NASCAR stage, one small story being played out in the wings, one small story that you might not ever otherwise see.

Marcy has been doing public relations and marketing work in NASCAR for years, and currently she's heading the PR operations at Atlanta Motor Speedway, where Sunday's Labor Day weekend 500 will be played out.
Whether or not she makes it to the track this weekend, or just stays home and rests, well, read her story and consider.
And when the sun comes up again, be thankful.
