Yet another NASCAR rainout, the third in six weeks now, pushes Chicago 400 to Monday

   JOLIET, Ill
   Persistent Sunday rain showers – as at Watkins Glen, N.Y., and Atlanta over the past five weeks – forced NASCAR officials to postpone the Chicago 400 at 7 p.m. CT, some six hours after the scheduled green flag for the first race of the Sprint Cup tour championship playoffs.
   The race was rescheduled for 11 a.m. CT (noon ET) Monday, though more rain is forecast for the morning.The afternoon should be 70 degrees and dry, however. Still the three-hour race could finish just about the time Rush Hour begins.
    Matt Kenseth and Paul Menard will be on the pole for the start. This will be only the first chase race to be postponed since the new format began in 2004.
