Truck champ Johnny Benson crashes hard in short-track race

   BROOKLYN, Mich.
   Johnny Benson, NASCAR's defending Truck series champion, was seriously injured in a fiery SuperModified crash at Berlin (Michigan) Speedway Saturday night.
   Benson, who just lost his Truck ride a few days ago, was reported alert when pulled from his car at the track, which is about 120 miles north of Michigan International Speedway.
   He has at least one broken rib and will be held in the hospital overnight.

I just saw the video of the wreck - it was bad. Apparantly he and another car hooked wheels and drilled the wall.
