   DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.

NASCAR executives are inviting incoming President Barack Obama to the Daytona 500, and any other Sprint Cup races he would like to attend, spokesman Ramsey Poston said last night.
NASCAR CEO Brian France invited Obama to attend any NASCAR event last season, but Obama never made it, though presidential rival John McCain did make some Cup events.
Poston is the sport's managing director of corporate communications.
